Phaedra
Flemming Flindt’s PHAEDRA is based on the play "Hippolytus" by Euripides, and tells the tale of a queen whose lust for her stepson leads to his murder and her suicide. Set to a commissioned score by Philip Glass, PHAEDRA explores the sexual intrigue and deception in the court of Athens, and the role the gods play in the lives of those mortals who think they are in control.
