What: New student auditions

When: Saturday, August 2nd from 2pm to 4pm

Where: Ballet San Jose studios, 40 North First Street in downtown San Jose

Why: Ballet San Jose SCHOOL will be auditioning NEW students for the Fall 2008 Semester which begins September 2, 2008 and runs through January 31, 2009

 

Audition Schedule:

Ages 8 – 12 years old, boys and girls: 2:00pm to 3:00 pm

 

Ages 13 years old and up, boys and girls: 3:00pm to 4:00pm

                            

What To Wear:

Girls: Hair in bun, pink tights, black leotard, ballet slippers and pointe shoes (if already on pointe).

Boys: Close-fitting white T-shirt, black tights or black shorts and white socks, black or white slippers.

Additional Details: Ballet San Jose SCHOOL has openings for new students ages 8 and older.  Placement auditions are required.

Ballet San Jose SCHOOL has achieved national and international recognition as a premier ballet training institution under the direction of School Director Lise la Cour (formerly of the Royal Danish Ballet).  The school offers training based on the Bournonville techniques, and draws from American, Russian, French and Italian styles, in order to produce well-rounded and professional young dancers.  Ballet San Jose SCHOOL offers classes in both Open and Professional Divisions.
